Recipe Scaling Tool Tutorial

Step 4. Enter
Case-Size Information

1. On the Database tab, under the Recipe Case-Size Information section,  select your recipe name using the drop-down menu (your recipe name should match the recipe name of the recipe located immediately to the left).

2. Enter your recipe's Yield - this time in LB in the blue cell.

3. Enter case-size information for each ingredient*.

*Important:

  • Enter ingredients in the same order as in the recipe.

  • Units of measure in the Recipe should match units of measure in the Recipe Case-Size table.

Step 5. Scale your Recipes Effortlessly

Now that the legwork is done, you are ready to scale your recipes to as many portions as you need, as many times as you want. Simply select the recipe from the drop down menu and enter the number of portions needed.

Step 6. Print your Purchasing Summary

You can now print the whole sheet or you can print only the purchase order. To only print the purchase order, select the area to print, press Ctrl + P, and choose "Selection" under the Settings in the dialog box. You can do the same with any portion of the sheet.
