Recipe Scaling Tool Tutorial

Step 1. Build a Recipe Library

On the Database tab, under the Recipe Portion Size Table,  enter your recipe name, and your portion size in LB. (Important: Always enter portion size in LB)

This will be A. Your recipe list for drop down menus in the calculator tab, and B. Your portion size library for auto-calculating product quantities.

Step 2. Build an Ingredient Library

On the Database tab, in the Ingredients Table,  enter your all your ingredients. This will be your ingredient list for drop down menus in each recipe.

Step 3. Plug-in your Recipes

On the Database tab, in the Recipes section,  enter your recipe ingredients and ingredient quantities. Choose a recipe name, and enter your recipe's yield in portions (per each). This will serve later as a weigh reference per ingredient for auto-calculating quantities per number of portions.
